VALLEY GEARBOXES
Built to last
Operating requirements are continually changing. Spans are getting longer, tires are getting bigger, operating hours are increasing. That is why Valley continues to make design changes to stay ahead of trends… and always provide the best products available.
The Valley gearbox is built by Valley to ensure the quality and performance you have come to expect from Valley. Valley in-house quality assurance personnel, work to ensure the industry’s most reliable gearbox. In addition, Valley tests every gearbox prior to shipping.
Features
- Superior Design gives three times the life of competitive gearboxes based upon independent tests.
- Ductile worm reduces wear compared to steel.
- Stronger bull gear allows 20% higher torque capacity based on independent tests.
- Longer output shaft increases mud and crop clearance, reducing chance of seal damage.
- Special offset rims positions tire close to gearbox to minimize bearing loads for longer life.
- Case hardened American input and output bearings with the industry’s highest load rating for longer life.
- Heaviest gearbox housing as there is more material in high stressed areas to handle extreme operating conditions.
- Bronze bull gear option with hardened steel worm provides additional load capabilities for extreme operating conditions or extends life under less severe conditions.
vLUBE XTREME VALLEY BRAND GEAR CASE OIL
Specifically formulated for pivot and linear drive trains
When it comes to gear case oil, comments will come up that suggest all oils are the same anyway. The fact is, all oils are not the same. Valley brand gear case oil has been specifically formulated for pivot and linear drive trains, a unique application. Proper maintenance of the drive train that includes timely oil changes with proper oil, will pay dividends over the lifespan of the machine.
APPLICATIONS
- For use in all wheel gearboxes and centre drives – Valley or competitive brands
- Use is required to receive drivetrain warranty.
How often should the oil be changed?
- After the first season of operation, change oil in the wheel gearboxes and centre drive gearmotors.
- It is recommended that under typical operating conditions (500-1000 hours / year), the wheel gearbox and centre drive gearmotor oil be changed every third year or after 3000 operating hours, whichever occurs first.
- It is essential that at the end of each operating season, all gearboxes be drained of any condensation that may have accumulated over the season and we recommend to top up with Valley brand gear case oil.
