Nathan Jones, Director
Nathan is leading the Island Irrigation team, providing for all customers’ service requirements. Nathan is a qualified fitter/machinist with over fifteen years in the pump and mining industry. His interest in the agricultural industry grew when moving home to Tasmania after working in the mining industry in Western Australia. His skills and extensive experience gained in pump maintenance and mining was well suited to the industry, and he has spent the following years working hard to develop his in-depth knowledge of the local agricultural landscape, including extensive experience working in Valley pivot irrigation.
Nathan prides himself in delivering great service to farmers, with a professional, knowledgeable and easy to approach attitude. Nathan strives to provide his clients with honest, cost effective irrigation systems and service, and is looking forward to continuing to grow those relationships with his Island Irrigation team.
Tim Herron, Sales Manager
Tim has worked as an irrigation designer and salesperson for the past six years and is committed to working with clients to develop and grow their business. Tim has had more than fifteen years’ experience in the agricultural industry, has a practical hands-on approach to each project and enjoys exploring options to help clients towards their goal. Tim is a Valley certified machine designer, a qualified fitter and machinist and has a diploma in engineering.
Having an extensive knowledge of the irrigation industry, Tim is able to provide clients with relevant and practical advice to achieve efficient irrigation and water transfer systems.
