Island Irrigation has service vehicles as well as a fully equipped workshop to allow for both onsite and offsite repairs for your irrigation system when required.
The team is experienced in preventative maintenance plan development to keep our client’s operations running efficiently. We run a full reporting history to identify common issues within your system, rectifying them before they cause an issue. In the event of a breakdown, Island Irrigation can service any part of your system and our trained technicians are always available for a voice or video call when needed.
We are also available to complete any poly welding (butt welding, electro fusion and extrusion) needed on farm with our fully trained technicians.
How often should the oil be changed in the drivetrain of your pivot or linear?
- After the first season of operation, change oil in the wheel gearboxes and centre drive gearmotors.
- It is recommended that under typical operating conditions (500-1000 hours / year), the wheel gearbox and centre drive gearmotor oil be changed every third year or after 3000 operating hours, whichever occurs first.
- It is essential that at the end of each operating season, all gearboxes be drained of any condensation that may have accumulated over the season and we recommend to top up with Valley brand gear case oil.
